Meet the Team

Dr. Fountain grew up in Ontario and graduated from Central Michigan University with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. After receiving his doctorate from the Michigan College of Optometry, he moved to the Ann Arbor area with his wife and started their family.  Dr. Fountain is a member of both the American and Michigan Optometric Associations.

Dr. Goodvin grew up in Livonia and graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors in Microbiology and a minor in social work.  After attending the Michigan College of Optometry and receiving her doctorate in 2020, she moved to Milan with her husband.  Dr. Goodvin is a member of both the American and Michigan Optometric Associations. She enjoys practicing primary care, pediatrics, and treating dry eye and other ocular diseases. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Goodvin spends her time traveling internationally, reading, listening to podcasts, and keeping her yellow Labrador, Zoe, out of the kitchen trash.

Michelle Brandon is the Office Manager. She has been an optician since 1994 and joined Fountain Optometry in 2006 as its very first employee.  Michelle is our frame buyer as well and loves to help our patients find their perfect pair of eyewear!  In her free time, she loves traveling with her husband and spending time with their adult children and first grandchild.

Jill Runyon has been in eyecare since 2001 and joined Fountain Optometry in 2014. In addition to being an Optician, she loves working in our lab and providing eyeglass repair services. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, listening to old record albums, and spending time with her husband.

Brandy Farris joined Fountain Optometry in 2012 as our Optometric Technician and then moved into the role of Front Desk Coordinator. In addition to keeping the schedule flowing smoothly, she does our medical billing. Brandy grew up in Milan and enjoys seeing the members of our community grow. When she isn’t in the office, she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters and enjoys being outside as much as possible.

Destinee Rangel joined Fountain Optometry in 2022 as an Optometric Technician, but has been in the field of optometry since 2010. She resides in Milan with her family and enjoys getting to meet new patients and fellow Milan residents. In her spare time, Destinee is busy spending time with her extended family in the area.

Jody Klein is our Accounting Specialist. She began working from home and transitioned to the office when we moved into our new space. She enjoys working with our patients when she is here. She and her family are active members of the Milan soccer community and have enjoyed watching all of the players grow on and off the field over the years. Jody enjoys spending time with her husband and three children playing games, camping, and traveling to Montreal to see their oldest child.
